Most-used TANYO tools

Measure twice

  1. Test on scrap

Drill or rout one piece of offcut before the real board. It costs a minute and saves a door.

  2. Lock the setting

Once a jig is set, lock it and use it for the whole run. Every reset is a chance for a new error.

  3. Clamp, then cut

Jigs, templates and stops only work when they cannot move. Two clamps beat one.

  4. Check tyres cold

Inflate to the pressure on the driver's door sticker, before the car has been driven.

What owners say

All my kitchen knobs are perfectly installed. We just installed new cabinets, and all of our hardware is perfectly uniform! It was easy to use, and we had all our knobs on in one afternoon

Perfect for stair laminate DIY. I do a lot of DIY and put laminate on my stairs. Precision in measurement is key for a professional look. This stair tread template allowed for me to measure each stair set perfectly for a professional look without the professional price tag.

Good, Reliable Jig for Shelf Pins and Hinges. The TANYO 2‑in‑1 Shelf Pin and Hinge Jig works well and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. The 1/4‑inch adjustable guide makes drilling consistent shelf pin holes pretty simple, and the hinge jig is a nice bonus for cabinet work. The material feels sturdy enough for regular shop use, and the layout is easy to follow even if you’re not a pro. It’s not fancy, but it’s accurate, convenient, and saves time on projects. For the price, getting both jigs in one tool is a solid deal. Five stars from me.

David C.Shelf Pin Jig and Hinge Jig, 2-in-1

Works great with a small modification. I used this to cut 168 - 3/16 inch strips from 2x10s to make some lattice for my porch. Setup was easy and it never move on me. The 3 bearings also helped keep the board straight when sliding the fence over for the next cut. I did have to grind down the one bolt that locks the thickness adjustment, it hit on my tablesaw before tightening the gauge. I'm sure adding a couple washers would work too. This worked great for me, no complaints.

High Quality! Perfect fit! Multi-uses.. Very Happy with these bench dogs. Impressed with the weight and quality, They fit perfectly into my Keter work table. I use them on these same plastic tables as insulators to hold hot grilling pans and keep the heat from the tables. Very handy.

Best purchase. Best purchase of the year! I do paint by numbers and it's so hard to see the numbers. This allows me to see the numbers better and with light. It is USB and you can adjust the lighting and the way the light shines. Highly recommend!

About TANYO tools

Woodworking jigs that put the hole in the right place

Most cabinet work comes down to drilling the same hole in the same place many times. A TANYO cabinet hardware jig clamps to a door or drawer front and guides the drill for handles and knobs; the shelf pin jig and hinge jig drills rows of shelf-pin holes and 35 mm concealed hinge cups; the router corner radius templates give 18 repeatable radius and chamfer profiles. All are CNC-machined aluminium with laser-cut scales, so the numbers stay readable after years on the bench.

For stairs, shelves and window sills, the stair tread template tool opens from 8 to 60 inches and copies the real angle of both walls onto the board, so the tread fits the first time.

Bench dogs and clamps

A dog-hole workbench needs something to sit in the holes. TANYO bench dog clamps and 12-packs of aluminium bench dogs fit standard 3/4 inch (19 mm) holes, with silicone or non-slip pads that do not mark the wood. Add 90-degree corner clamps for square frames and a small 360° hobby vise for models and jewellery.

Car tools that keep your ride ready

On the road side of the wall: a portable tire inflator to 150 PSI with auto-stop, an 8000 Pa cordless handheld car vacuum, wheel lock clamps for trailers and campers, a steering wheel lock, a strut spreader and control arm pry tool, and jack stand pads that protect pinch welds.
